IVO: Paper On PreciSight® From InfiniteVision Optics™ Declared BEST OF THE SESSION

During the 35th Congres of the ESCRS (European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons) held in Lisbon on 7 -11 October 2017, Harvey Uy, MD presented the initial results of enhancement surgery with the two-component, adjustable intraocular lens system – PreciSight® from InfiniteVision Optics™.

The presentation on the new lens system and initial results were very well accepted and declared “Best of the Session“, as well as one of the eye surgeons in the audience stating that (...) PreciSight® has a bright future.



SUMMARY OF RESULTS

Primary Procedure: • Primary implantation identical to conventional cataract surgery • Injection of two lenses simultaneously through a 2.2 mm incision • Stable position (ACD) of PreciSight® in the eye over time • Constant ECC pre- and post-primary surgery • Lens rotation fully within ISO standard limits (average ±2.1°)

Enhancement: • 18 out of 20 patients gained a minimum of 2 lines and are potentially spectacle free •Constant ECC and stable position (ACD) of PreciSight® in the eye pre- and post- enhancement procedure •Lens axis unchanged after enhancement surgery
